|
| In addition to mandatory systemwide fees, professional
students pay professional degree fees which range fby program and
residency from $3,685 to $22,049.

Educational Fee: The Educational Fee varies by student
level and residency.
California resident undergraduates: $2,088 per student
per quarter for one quarter and $2,087 per quarter student for two
quarters, or $3,131 per student per semester, for a total annual charge
of $6,262.
Nonresident undergraduates: $2,283 per student per
quarter or $3,424.50 per student per semester, for a total
annual charge of $6,849.
California resident graduate students (except those who are
subject to the Fees for Selected Professional School
Students): $2,374 per student per
quarter or $3,561 per student per semester,
for
a total annual
charge of $7,122.
Nonresident graduate students: $2,478 per
student per quarter or $3,717 per student per semester
for a total annual charge of $7,434.
For graduate students subject to the Fees for Selected Professional
School Students: $2,068 per student per
quarter or $3,102 per student per semester, for a total annual
charge of $6,204.
Professional students enrolled in public health, public policy,
and the San Diego program in international relations
and Pacific studies are charged the same rates as graduate
academic students.
All students in the schools of the health sciences are required
to pay the Educational Fee for each
quarter in which they register, including the Summer Quarter. Health
Sciences students
are students
enrolled
in graduate health sciences
degree programs in medicine
(M.D.),
veterinary medicine (D.V.M.), dentistry
(D.D.S.), optometry (O.D.), pharmacy (Pharm.D.), nursing (M.N. or M.S.),
and public
health
(M.P.H., Dr.P.H., or D.Env).
University Registration Fee
will be $288 per student per quarter or $432 per student per semester,
for a total annual charge of $864. Health sciences students are required to pay the full University
Registration Fee charged General Campus students for each Fall, Winter,
and Spring Term and $80 for the Summer Quarter.
Nonresident Tuition: Nonresident tuition also varies by
student level.
Undergraduate nonresidents: $6,674 per student per
quarter for two quarters and $6,673 per student for one quarter, or
$10,010.50 per student per semester, for a total annual charge of $20,021.
Graduate nonresidents: $4,898 per student per quarter
or $7,347 per student per semester, for a total annual charge of $14,694.
Nonresident
tuition is reduced 100% for eligible nonresident graduate doctoral students
who have advanced to candidacy.
For students subject to the Fee for Selected Professional School
Students: $4,082 per student per quarter for two quarters and $4,081 per
student for one quarter, or $6,122.50 per student per semester, for a total
annual charge of $12,245.
Special Fee for Medical and Law Students will be $126
per student for one quarter and $125 per student for two quarters or $188
per student per semester, for a total annual charge of $376. Disability Insurance Fee is assessed to medical school and dental school
students and, except for the Berkeley campus, is collected during the
Fall term only. Graduate Students are students who have been admitted
to a program leading to a professional or academic degree beyond the Bachelor's
degree or equivalent. The amounts shown above represent fees as currently approved
for the 2008-09 academic year. Every effort will be made to keep fees
at these levels. However, given continuing budget uncertainties, circumstances
may require an adjustment in these amounts during the academic year. Fees are subject to change without notice.
