Fees
Fees are subject to change without notice.
Nonresident Tuition:
The total annual charge for undergraduate nonresident students will
be $19,068.
The charge will be $6,356 per student
per quarter or $9,534 per student per semester. The total annual
charge for graduate nonresident students will be $14,694. The charge
will
be $4,898 per student per quarter or $7,347 per student per semester.
Nonresident tuition is
reduced 100% for eligible nonresident graduate doctoral students who have
advanced to candidacy.
The total annual charge
for students subject to the Fee for Selected Professional School Students
will be
$12,245.
The
charge
will
be $4,082 per student per quarter for two quarters and $4,081 per
student for one quarter. The semester charge will be $6,122.50 per student.
Educational
Fee for California resident undergraduate students will
be $1,950 per student per quarter; the semester charge will be
$2,925 per student for a total annual charge of $5,850. For nonresident
undergraduate students, the Educational Fee will be $2,134
per student per quarter
or $3,201 per student per semester for a total annual charge
of $6,402.
For California resident
graduate students (except those who are subject to the
Fees for Selected Professional School Students), the Educational
Fee will be $2,218 per student per quarter or $3,327 per student per
semester for a total annual charge of $6,654. For nonresident
graduate academic students,
the Educational Fee will be $2,316 per student per quarter; the semester
charge will be $3,474 per student for a total annual charge
of $6,948.
For graduate
students subject to the Fees for Selected Professional School Students the
Educational Fee will be $1,932 per student per quarter for
a total annual charge of $5,796. The semester charge will be $2,898
per semester. Professional
students enrolled in public health, public policy, and the San Diego program
in international relations and Pacific studies are charged the same rates as
graduate academic students.
University Registration
Fee will be $262 per student per
quarter or $393 per student per semester, for a total annual
charge of $786.
Special Fee for Medical and Law Students will
be $126 per student for one quarter and $125 per student for two quarters
or $188
per student per semester, for a total annual charge of $376.
Fee for Selected Professional
School Students is
assessed to all professional degree students enrolling in the following
degree programs: law (J.D. or J.S.D.), medicine (M.D.), dentistry
(D.D.S.), veterinary
medicine
(D.V.M.),
business (M.B.A.), optometry (O.D.), pharmacy (Pharm.D.),nursing (M.N.
or M.S.N.), theater, film, and
television
(M.F.A.) at UCLA, public policy (MPP), public health (M.P.H., Dr. P.H.,
D.Env) and the Internal Relations and Pacific Studies (MPIA) at UCSD.
The Fee is not uniform among disciplines. See Section
2 for annual
fee
levels.
Disability Insurance Fee is assessed to medical school and dental
school students and, except for the Berkeley campus, is collected during
the Fall term only.
Graduate Students are students who have been admitted to a program leading to a professional or academic degree beyond the Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
The amounts shown above represent
fees as currently approved for the 2007-08 academic year. Every effort
will be made to keep fees at these
levels. However, given continuing budget uncertainties, circumstances
may require an adjustment in these amounts during the academic year.
